Kimi to Boku Season 1 & 2

I'm on a quest to search for good friendship drama with Honey and Clover vibe when I found Kimi to Boku. With a good opening song, it was enough for me to continue watching this. I've never read the manga but well I prefer watching anime than reading manga. I'm not a patient person and that's why anime works for me.

Kimi to Boku, which means You and Me is a story which revolves around four teens, Yūta and Yūki Asaba, Shun Matsuoka and Kaname Tsukahara, who grew up together (osana najimi) and a half-Japanese transfer student Chizuru Tachibana who joins the circle of friends. It's a good anime about every day life and their journey through adoslence.

I found this anime funny but at times it teaches you about life and growing up. Some of the scene reminds me of my youth. It's very laidback and I really prefer anime like this. I don't have to worry about saving the world, what will happen to the hero, who will fall in love with who, so a very good movie when you need to ease your mind.

I can't get enough of it and I don't mind following this anime through the journey of the five teens life until they graduate and embark into the adult life- working, get married, getting old, all of that.

A very simple, sweet and heartwarming anime. This is definitely making my favorite anime list.
