Where it all began - Oshin
Many years back, I still remember watching this drama with my late mom. It was in the 80's and I don't remember how old I am back then. What I do remember is the look on Mama's face when she was totally engrossed watching her fav's drama at that time. Her anguished look with a box of tissue in her hands, how I missed those time with her.
Oshin was my first Japanese Dorama and from this is how my passion starts. I'm in fact a maniac for Japanese doramas, Japanese Mangas, Japanese Anime and whatever Japanese culture there is. This obsession of mine really make a great impact on how it has 'infected' all my brothers. It's like a disease in the family. I cannot stop watching it and that is how I always end up 'marathoning' watching the whole DVD in one go and only stopping for eat, drink, prayer and well you know, when 'nature do calls'. Hahahaha......
