Antique
Antique tells a story of four men who work in a bakery. Antique Bakery is owned by a Tachibana Keiichiro (Shiina Kippei), Ono Yusuke (Fujiki Naohito) who is an exccellent baker that has a mysterious and mesmerizing enigma; Kobayakawa Chikage (Abe Hiroshi) they called him Kage, which means shadow, as he is the close bodyguard of Tachibana and he eventually working in the bakery as a waiter; and the last protagonist is Kanda Eiji (Takizawa Hideaki), the ex-boxer who loves cake so much that he becomes a waiter at 'Antique'.
This drama was adapted from a manga called Antique Bakery by Yumi Yoshinaga. There was also an anime but I don't like the anime at all. I still prefer the live-action adaption where you can see how this four men with different personalities come together in making the Antique Bakery comes alive.
It's a very heartfelt comedy and I love how the character especially Abe Hiroshi and Shiina Kippei. It's very funny how they exchange glances, those weird moments, but there's no homosexual elements in this drama compare to the anime.
You know what I love the most? Of course the cakes, pastry, and oh my god! After watching Antique, I think I did spent a fortune buying all those delicious cakes and desserts that I can get my hand into. LOL.
